Description

Responsibilities:
Assists with daily stewardship and acquisition of major corporate, individual, and foundation donors. Prepares corporate and individual fundraising mailings, including letters and proposals, for exhibitions, corporate membership, and other Museum programs. Generates and maintains donor prospect, contact, and invitation lists. Assists with preparation of grant proposals and reports. Writes and prepares general donor correspondence, including gift acknowledgements. Assists with travel scheduling and arrangements for department head. Processes new gifts and works with Museum donor database. Processes department invoices and tracks expenses. Performs general department administrative duties, including meeting scheduling, maintenance of donor files, and responding to general email inquiries. Assists with Museum tours for donors and other VIP guests. Assists with related donor events. Reports to Director, Exhibition and Program Funding.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years’ related experience including full-time, part-time, fellowship, or internship positions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet research, and office procedures. Ability to work independently and handle many projects simultaneously. Interest in and knowledge of modern and contemporary art. Foreign languages a plus.
