Summer Internship: Design Intern (Academic Credit Only)

Gilt Groupe is looking for excited, passionate and hard-working interns for our Summer Intern Program! We will be bringing in a group of students across all parts of the business to gain experience in our fast-paced luxury e-commerce organization to join our fantastic teams for 10 weeks. To be considered, you must provide a resume and a cover letter answering the question 'Why Gilt?' and outlining your areas of interest. You must also be able to participate for the entirety of the program and provide a letter of credit for your college or university. This is an unpaid, for academic credit only internship.
Our Creative team is looking for a talented Design intern this summer. This intern should be currently working towards a degree in graphic or web design, with proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite essential.

The intern can expect to:
Provide creative support to team producing badges, marketing
assets, promotions, typographic and graphic research for seasonal event projects. Candidate will also work with art director to organize digital files on server, including logos, fonts, images, etc.

Our intern will leave Gilt with a solid knowledge of an ecommerce site and the sales lifecycle of a product. S/he will push their creative process and gain experience in typographic layout, concepting and marketing campaigns.

The intern will present projects in the team's biweekly creative review and receive feedback accordingly. He/she will also be working closely with the art director and receiving feedback on a daily basis.
